A troll is supposed to be irritating and cause an angry reaction. These... how do I describe them... "climaxless" gifs indeed originally started out producing an annoyed "WTF, where's the payoff?" reaction, for which I commend the uploaders. But the more of these get uploaded, the more the reaction just becomes a roll-eyes "Oh. Another one of these."
