Theramore Girl

It's happy hour, the alcohol is flowing. It's time to pull up a tankard of ale, bottle of wine for the ladies and regail tales of heroism and grandeur.

Days could've passed. Possibly weeks, but the environment had certainly changed during this time. The marsh country that they were so used to was now sand, and the dark trees were now what we'd acknowledge as palm trees. The grey clouds had dispersed and in their wake left clear, blue skies.

Veneta awoke to find herself lying ontop of a narrow plank of wood positioned on a sandy terrain. She stumbled to her feet and looked around - she was surrounded. But not by monsters, or pirates as her stories of these places had told her, but water. The terrain seemed to be an Island, and behind her was a fortress like structure constructed from measly scraps of wood, although still emitting an aura of menace. Whilst glancing around for an escape route, the girl heard shouts from within the fortress. 'Help, there must be help inside! Maybe they know how I can get home' she thought to herself and without thought or caution, she ran inside.

Unfortunately for her, the shouts were from Ryan, who was scoffing his face with delicacies he had found inside.

"You shouldn't be eating those" she said, glancing down at Ryan with a certain suspiscion.

Ryan returned a sort of childish expression, his eyes squinting with his tongue out -

He put on a stupid voice, which was said to represent Veneta -
"Don't eat those Ryan! I'm a stupid idiot who should go and drown and make the world a better place" he sniggered at his own words and stuffed more food into his mouth.

The girl sighed heavily.

"Oh come on Vennie. You must be hungry"

Veneta had noticed her stomach making a rather loud sound and she reluctantly bent down and nibbled on some aged cheddar.

Ryan brushed himself off and stood up, spinning around as well as laughing.

"This is great! We have our own *proper* house. We can have parties and relax and not be disturbed and-"
He noticed Veneta's thoughtful expression.
"What?"

"What if.."
"What if what?"
"Well" Veneta looked at the various crests on the wall, "What if this is someone else's home?"

Ryan laughed.
"Then we'll fight 'em for it! Ain't no man in Azeroth who can defeat Ryan McCaffrey"
With this vain phrase he jumped onto a nearby set of benches and danced across them, making fighting noises and movements occasionally.

Vennie couldn't help but snicker slightly at this display of hooliganism from Ryan, but her gesture was quickly shortened as men sprung from all sides of the hall, grabbing the two children and dragging them, kicking and screaming, to a small, derelict room downstairs.
