Journey to the Rhyme

It's happy hour, the alcohol is flowing. It's time to pull up a tankard of ale, bottle of wine for the ladies and regail tales of heroism and grandeur.

Journey to the Rhyme

A Journey to the Rhyme, by Alwynn Swiftbow

From the green I started
crossed blue and parted
Found my own brown
when I head down

To the horizon we set sail
over the grey myst that prevail
to a harbor far from home
not a single step I walked alone

Through the white snow
I rested my small bow
Followed the metal sound
inside the town with red ground

Floated beneath the soil
with few or even none recoil
reached the green of gold
to hear stories never told

Sat down outside the Lion
near the sound of iron
three ladies of prime
introduced me to the Rhyme

I turned red inside out
didn't know all about
the purple drink I shared
over the fire that flared

Felt asleep on the spot
didn't happen a lot!
But the three ladies assured
under their arms I was now secured

So this is how I got in
a lot of adventures within
Friendship and achievement
inside Rhyme & Punishment

--------------------------------------------

Poem explanation:
1st - I started on the green elvish lands, crossed the blue sea and found Biggie (brown) while heading south. :canabis:
2nd - Took the boat to Menethil Harbor where the myst seems to prevail, Biggie was always with me. :captain:
3rd - Headed to the icy dwarvish lands without much effort and found Ironforge (town with red ground - lava , and metal sounds) :marchmellow:
4th - Took the Tram (floated beneath the soil) and went to Goldshire (green forest all around Goldshire - "green of gold")
5th - Outside the Lion's Pride Inn I met 3 ladies (Seren, Cerla and Lucille , if I recall right) :ciao:
6th - They offered me alcoholic drinks (purple drink) while we sat near a firecamp
7th and 8th - Taaadaaaa, I got inside Rhyme&Punishment after a couple of lovely chats and evenings sitting in Goldshire. :congrats:

That made me smile... I always like historic tales. Used to document all of Dip's adventures, but it became too much!
