Legion Mage Tower Timewalking Spell Restrictions

Patch 9.1.5 disables a long list of spells in the Mage Tower. Some of these spells might be old or have gone unused since they were added back in Beta.



You can see a full list of spells not allowed in the Timewalking Mage Tower by clicking the banner below, but most of the following spells are not usable:

• Runecarver Legendary effects
• Soulbind Conduit effects
• Covenant class abilities
• Covenant signature abilities
• A few item procs

Achievements

Items and Rewards

• Timebound Ruminations – Set an Adventures companion to level 30. Requires one companion to reach level 40. Cannot be used on companions level 30 and above (was grants 5000 experience points directly to a Adventures companion of your choice). (This change will be available in a later PTR build)
  
  
  • Developers’ note: After reading player feedback feeling that the Anima cost was too high for the amount of companion experience granted, we made changes to the item to set the companion to level 30 instead. The original design of the item was intended to be a supplemental augment to get companions through very low levels quickly, and not to be replacement for interacting with the system. Upon further inspection after player feedback, we agree that cost was too high for 5000 XP and made the changes to be a level boost to 30 instead.

• Umbral Glaive Storm (New)

Raid & Dungeon Abilities

• Excess Lightning Each player struck by Focused Lightning releases Excess Lightning, inflicting 10 9 Nature damage to nearby players. Excess Lightning blows away any sand dunes it strikes. Instant.
• Fel Vomitus Inflicts 31 Inflicts 20 Fire damage to any players who come into contact with a pool of Fel Vomitus. Instant.
• Jagged Disc Hurls a disc at an enemy, inflicting 14 Physical damage. 35 60 yd range. 1 sec cast.
• Petrifying Cloud Summons a Petrifying Totem at the feet of the enemy for 30 sec. The Petrifying Cloud inflicts 8 1 Nature damage every 1 sec. Enemies that come into contact with the cloud will be petrified after 10 sec. Instant.
• Rupturing Poison Infects the target with a poison that causes them to rupture after 6 sec, inflicting 30 Nature damage to players within 6 yds Limited to 3 targets. 40 yd range. Instant.
• Stone Bolt Inflicts 22 Nature damage to the current target. 40 50 yd range. 1 sec cast. 1 sec cooldown.
• Strike of the Mountain Summons a pair of stone hands, which move inwards and explode for 90 80 Nature damage on contact. 100 yd range. Instant.
• Swirling Scythe Throws a scythe towards a player, inflicting 26 25 Physical damage and knocking back any players it comes into contact with. Unlimited range. Instant.
• Toxic Puddle Inflicts 5 Nature damage. Instant. Inflicts 10 Nature damage. Instant.
