- Shimmering Aurelid - Reward from completing the achievement Glory of the Sepulcher Raider.
- Sturdy Gilded Mawrat Harness - Reward from completing the achievement Flawless Master (Layer 16).
- Sturdy Soulsteel Mawrat Harness - Reward from completing the achievement The Jailer's Gauntlet: Layer 4.
- Wastewarped Deathwalker - Reward from completing the achievement Shadowlands Keystone Master: Season Three.

- Fractal Cypher of the Zereth Overseer - Drops from The Jailer on Mythic difficulty in Sepulcher of the First Ones.

- Anointed Protostag Reins - Purchased for 5000 Anima from Vilo. Requires Revered reputation with The Enlightened.
- Heartlight Stone - Purchased for 5000 Anima from Vilo. Requires Exalted reputation with The Enlightened.
Zone Drops
- Iska's Mawrat Leash - Drops from Rhuv, Gorger of Ruin in Zereth Mortis.
- Spectral Mawrat's Tail - Drops from Mawsworn Supply Chests in Zereth Mortis.

- Patient Bufonid - Rewarded after completing 7 daily quests offered by Avna in Haven.

- Deepstar Polyp - Drops from Hirukon in Zereth Mortis. Youtube Guide.
- Fish in Hirukon's waters until you get the Strange Goop (low drop).

- Speak with Baroness Vashj in Maldraxxus.
- Waypoint: /way Maldraxxus 57.6 91.9 Baroness Vashj
- Fish the Pungent Blobfish from the Pungent Blobfish Cluster in Zangarmarsh
- Waypoint: /way Zangarmarsh 50.5 41.4 Entrance to Coilfang Resevoir

- Fish the Flipper Fish from the Flipper Fish School in Nazjatar

- Get the Coilclutch Vine found in the Ruins of Vashj'ir in the Shimmering Expanse.

- After you have obtained these 3 items, go back to Baroness Vashj and speak with her to get the Aurelid Lure.

- Go back to Hirukon's waters in Zereth Mortis and create a group to defeat Hirukon.
- Waypoint: /way Zereth Mortis 52.3 74.9 Hirukon's waters
- Use the Aurelid Lure and fish from the newly spawned Aurelid Cluster to summon Hirukon.
- Defeat Hirukon and Deepstar Polyp is yours! The person using the lure is guaranteed to get the mount, everyone else will have a low chance to loot it.
- Fish in Hirukon's waters until you get the Strange Goop (low drop).
PvP Mounts
- Cosmic Gladiator's Soul Eater - Shadowlands Season 3 Gladiator Mount Reward.
- Vicious War Croaker - Shadowlands Season 3 Alliance Rated PvP Reward.
- Vicious War Croaker - Shadowlands Season 3 Horde Rated PvP Reward.
Protoform Synthesis Crafting System
Protoform Synthesis is a new system used to craft Zereth Mortis-themed mounts and battle pets.
- To unlock the Synthesis Forge where mounts are created, you will have to research Sopranian Understanding from the Cypher System.
- Crafting mounts requires Schematics, Lattices, Rare Reagents and Genesis Motes.
- Schematics can be obtained by completing quests, looting hidden treasures and defeating powerful creatures.
- Lattices are used to generate a creature's body and drop from mobs of the same type. For example, if you want to make the Heartbond Lupine then you will have to get a Lupine Lattice from wolves.
- Rare Reagents can be obtained from vendors, treasures and creatures throughout Zereth Mortis.
- Genesis Motes are common drops from creatures in Zereth Mortis.
- In total, there are 24 mounts and 28 pets that can be crafted through the Protoform Synthesis System.
