Mods for Legion

The Black Temple was merely a setback. Again.

Never was able to get on with Bartender. Dominos always reigned.

I ended up settling on the following:

  • SexyMap - Emerald Portal
  • Masque - Diablo
  • Bartender4
  • Shadowed UnitFrames
  • Raven
  • Prat
  • Altoholic
  • TipTac
  • Pawn
  • Tidy Plates
  • IceHud
  • Bagnon
  • Archy

I'll post a picture of it later.

Edit: I'll probably fiddle with kgPanels at some point to finish layout.

This is what I have:

ElvUI with Enhanced
Enhanced adds more options to the UI, like minimap button bar. I have saved different UI setups for healers, tankers, physical dps and caster dps, and one for RP to which I have to switch manually. Others I have set to change whenever I change spec, for example with a paladin I would have healer UI set for holy, tank set for protection and physical dps set for retribution. Enhanced also adds an option to switch equipment sets when you switch specs, if you have one saved on the equipment manager of course.

XRP
- Role-play addon that I like.

Recount, Auctionator and Deadly Boss Mods as well.

A few more quality-of-life enhancements.

Ackis Recipe List and its modules (each tradeskill module sold separately).
This set of mods modify your tradeskill window and allow you to see the recipes you have not yet learned, and where you can find these recipes.

Extended Vendor UI.
This mod enlarges the vendor window (from two columns to four), and adds several filters which you can use to for example hide already-learned recipes, or armour that's not usable by your class. There's also a search box for extra-super-special convenience.

Ackis Recipe List is a bit obsolete when the default window already has two tabs that shows recipes you have learned and have not, and where to find those you have not learned yet.

Regarding Ackis Recipe List.

Just a simple example of the difference:
  • ARL shows you the actual number of recipes you have not yet learned. Not a big deal.
  • ARL shows you the "rarity colour" of the enchant. Not a big deal.
  • ARL shows you the skill level you need to learn the recipe. Medium-sized deal.
  • Blizzard tradeskill UI says "world vendors". ARL tells you exactly where you can find these vendors. Big deal.

My own creation. Mutes Rhonin's shouting when you're in Dalaran and someone completes the Algalon quest.

I have a feel we have a need for Shut up, Kalecgos! one as well whenever someone does the The Stuff of Legends quest. Although that happens more rarely than the Rhonin one.

Add Shut Up Baradin Guard to that.

I swear I see him yelling about Tol Barad in SW every 2 mins.
