Forum Downtime

I will be attempting to move the forum again tonite to the new server.

In order not to lose any data in between snapshots, I will shut down the active forum while I work on it.

This may take from 40 mins, up to several hours - depending on how many problems I face once again.

This will probably happen around 7pm server time.

Thanks, I'm going to need it.

This will be the 8th time that I move the damn thing in 2 days.

It exploded in my face at every attempt since then.

Alrighty!

Forum is now moved, and happily snug into its new resting place.

Please give a cheer to Gergel, who expertly spotted what the heck was wrong with it all, and fixed it for me.

Here's a cookie for ya mon cherie!

There will be forum downtime later today.

This GoDaddy hosting is a slow and a total piece of shit with more timeout errors and database 404's than a 14k dial-up modem, so I'll be moving everything to a new home, kindly provided by Tormeron.

Watch this space for more updates.

Aaaaaaand done!

Finally we have a resting place that is permanent, efficient, and most importantly, payed for! And damn it's fast!

Thanks goes to Torm who offered his hosting services - even though I ended up not using them. It's the thought that counts :)

Anyone needing any hosting solutions, I found these guys incredible, and cheap!
