Technical query!

Getting a new PC soon, and one thing i do not look forward to is another patchathon with the WoW downloader, waiting almost an entire day to see what WoW looks like on my new rig.

I have heard that WoW doesn't bind itself to the registery similar to other games, and you can litreally copy the subfolder from one system to another, and it'll work just fine.

So my question is, if i burnt my entire WoW folder to a DVD or BD-R, and then plonked it in my new system, would it work?

yep, should work, you might have to do a little fix or something at worst... otherwise it's all gravy

I copied the files to a whajammicallitmemorystick when me and the missus got new laptops... Dowloaded the patch overnight on hers, and transferred it to mine via USB, but for some reason, everytime I log on, I have to agree to the terms and conditions. :alberteinstein::deal::confused2:
