A Wiki sounds like a great idea to me, be quite nice to have a RnP wiki floating around.

Dread to think what some of the entries would be :P

Well, I've still got to do some background coding for it (and I have a free weekend for it) but I do have talesofazeroth.co.uk and some php/mysql hosting, so can set up a simple site for story submission and editing. It'll be easier then messing with a complicated wiki software.

Note: trying to access it right now will fail as I've got to get the address connected to the server first.

Additional Note: adding stories will be done similar to how forum posts work. (I may get a wysiwyg editor working at some point).

Why am I still editing: The site's layout/template will be the same as http://www.geocities.com/acaeris/islandofblue.html except I'll change the title to "Tales of Azeroth: Stories by the members of Rhyme and Punishment"

Quick update: I've been busy doing the foundation work of the code for talesofazeroth.co.uk. Most of it is finished now, I just have the login and posting pages to write so it might be done by the end of the week.

Initially, if you want to use it you'll need to send me a PM here so I can create an account for you (I'm not having open account creation yet). If you have any ideas for what you would like to see in it then say so, it's always nice to know other peoples ideas.

Once it's open you'll be able to post stories similar to how you start threads on a forum. The contents list will be generated automatically and updates with any changes you make. Stories will need to be posted as one 'chapter' per post and can be edited as separate chapters as well.

Image hosting wont be available to begin with but I plan to get something sorted out for that. Adding images to the story will be as simple as:
[img|right|http://where.your.image.is] for a right floated image
[img|left|http://where.your.image.is] for a left floated image
[img|banner|http://where.your.image.is] for a banner image
placed before the text you wish it to appear next to/above.
