Re: Forum bug reports

In the full chat (only in the full chat) the server keeps giving me back a chatbot error (timeout)

ChatBot: Error: Connection timeout. Please try again.

This happens after anything i type, it has nothing to do with the "Blorgh" reactions

Re: Forum bug reports

As Gergel already pointed out, connection timeouts on chat, are client to server issues - ie: your connection is dodgy.

I myself haven't seen a single timeout except on day of launch.

Re: Forum bug reports

What is the timeout in ms that the chat is allowing?
It might do this to anyone further from the server than X ms

for instance i am 90 ms away from the server. so it might cause the issue due to it expecting a response below 50 ms for example

Gergel just fixed it

Re: Forum bug reports

Actually it was a bug in full chat (not chatbox). It wasn't actually a timeout, but a piece of javascript exception handling code which assumed that "any error is a connection issue" even though it was an altogether different issue. Fixed now.

Re: Forum bug reports

I have an issue with the forum having no issues, can you fix it so it has issues? :Q

Re: Forum bug reports

Not exactly a bug. But I noticed that the "Birthdays" bit at the bottom of the page blends in a little too much with the rest of the elements down there. You might want to add an icon or something to make it stand out a little more. Wouldn't want to miss any important Rhymer birthdays would we? :Q

I noticed that sometimes signatures won't display on certain specific posts. Not sure what might be causing it but I think it might have something to do with post length. *shrug*

My last two posts above don't display my signature, your post does not display it either.
