Bleh, I say. How does a simple string replacement rule mess that sort of a thing up?...
Anywho, as you can see on previous pages now, smilies work again.

Not a bug report, just wondering what you changed in the new version?

It was a pure upstream update, no custom changes. phpBB changelog. Previous version: 3.0.12, current version: 3.0.13PL1.

Is the forum dying on me a few times a day a forum or a host issue?

I'd say it's a host issue. If it were a forum issue, it would be happening constantly.

Seems like when someone does a doublepost and the post is merged, the "last post" time on the front page doesn't update to the new post, but keeps showing the time of the original one.

Dunno if by design, or needs to be addressed.

I don't seem to be able to replicate that. Here's a comparison of a part of the forum list before and after a merged doublepost:

The upper screenshot is from before a doublepost, the lower from after, and the dates/times have changed.

Hmmm weird. I noticed it yesterday with Torm's double post in this Dream PC thread.

OP was a 19:31 .. then he reposted and merged at 20:31 .. yet I kept seeing 19:31 on front page.
