Reverse punk.
Instead of having a mohawk with the sides of your head shaved, you have hair all over your head except for a bald strip running across the middle from forehead to the spine. You are also very conservative and love the government. Your music is quiet and mellow. You always dress in suit-and-tie (men) or a proper prim dress (women).
What kind of sick individual burns a book full of perfectly good dark arts?!

I'd love that.

Or maybe Salvage punk would be more accurate?

Most of Shakespeare's plays were taken from older stories. Take the concept and make it yours!

Yeah, you can by all means take it and make it your own. I still love the idea :)

There's a saying: "Nothing is written in a vacuum" - meaning that all the things we write (or think up) are based in influences we are given by the world and the society we live in.

As such it's no wonder people might bump into similar ideas, but that doesn't mean the idea isn't big enough for more people ^^
