So I flew to Sicily yesterday very early in the morning, and it was in the middle of a very unusual rain storm for May. It was raining cats and dogs over the Mediterranean, and we took off in a torrential downpour - and it was pretty much enveloped in white clouds all throughout the crossing of the Mediterranean.

Then suddenly the clouds parted, Sicily was just showing up with the sunrise behind it ... well ... this is what I saw, and managed to grab a picture.

I cannot put into words how pleased I am with this photo.

Yeah .. I was never into photography, yet I have a natural thing for certain angles and lighting.

I can really frame a picture at the right moment.

Getting the right exposure on a picture is harder than it seems.

Phone cameras actually aren't that bad these days. They'll work just fine if you don't have money to spend on those overpriced mirror reflection cameras that "real photographers" have. Which most people, including some "real photographers" don't have :P
