The poor dude from Shevron's picture is either still living in the distant past, when you might have had to occasionally compile something that wasn't available from your distribution (he's also complaining that one of his 13 Windows 95 installation floppies is broken and he can't install Windows anymore), or he's being forced against his will to use Gentoo.
What kind of sick individual burns a book full of perfectly good dark arts?!
