Mass Effect: the whole bloody Galaxy.

(Also WoW should be considerably bigger nowadays: the map is missing all expansions.)

It's a bit weird to put all games together, e.g.: driving games and other games, as it's only logical that driving games have bigger maps needed for playability.

Also, I love the comments:

As well as the expansions that are missing WoW also has a ton of instances, battlegrounds raids and dungeons that are big areas but plotted as a single small point in the map.

When did WoW have a known map scale? Like, I get that it's 'small' by design but I'm not sure I understand how they are measuring the scale. Is it supposed to be perceived size or actual area represented?

I'm sure someone's measured the distance practically, as yeah - there's no recorded measurement.

You can likely take the concept of a Roman mile, measuring the distance traveled at a neutral pace and apply that back. It'd be rough but close.

I thought it was a fun video to watch ... not go through the Spanish Inquisition of game map surveying!
