Black and white dance

I've been playing with an idea for an event a while now, but since Shadow Sentinels wasn't the right guild to hold it with I was wondering of any rhymers out there might want to give a hand with organising this.

The idea would be to have a formal dance in the Stormwind keep.
All people attending would have to be dressed in black and white (or grey) rp outfits.
There would be some waiters walking around selling drinks and food. Perhaps having a small band playing, some guards in tuxedo's at the door.

Would be a fun boost to the rp-community.

Nice to see so many people are up for this.
I was thinking we could recruit the glitterclink trading company to sell some drinks that evening. Maybe they're up for some rp.
proceeds would be for them ofcourse.

Perhaps we can "end" the ball with some fireworks?

Was thinking we could start around 8... have people walk up to the "king" and take a bow before they walk in pairs to the ballroom...
some mingling stiff dancing a glass of champagne, second thought, make that cherry grog.
Around 9.30 all outside for some fireworks and than start a real afterparty with some discoballs?

Heheh, depends when the 8 is for me at least - I'm not usually home from work at 8 server time on a weekday...
