Competition: Forum Background Image

Here is a little idea for those of you who can do cool stuff with image editing software. Can you come up with a replacement for our 'broken' friend making the background graphic on our forum? He is a little tired and he would like a holiday. It would be nice if we had a selection we could rotate around.

Here he is in his full glory:

Now I had a little go, and this is what happened. The image has to be in .gif format, so your only playing with 256 colours.

Now, you don't have to do screenshots. Anything warcraft related that looks good on a black background will do. We have a few surplus [item]Imbued Netherweave Bag[/item]s in the guild bank for the winner or three. If you have any ideas throw them up here, I am sure you can better that thing I made easily (please do).

Threw this together in flash.

Did it with no reference, other than popping on quick to check the colours of the boxes :P

It all makes sense now. You did that rather quickly considering.

I have recently downloaded a free software for picture editing. I think it has all the things on required. I am not sure how it compares to paint.net or the priced ones but it has worked for me.

I will try and get a picture soon but I do not think I will be as quick as Bootle as I am still new to it.
